No Comb
So it just struck me that I haven't used a comb on my hair in almost 11 months. So liberating. My hair is clean and the most healthy it's ever been. I look at my 16 year old daughter and wish she would go natural. Alas, she won't even consider it. She believes wearing a weave is where it's at. My middle child Olivia who is 8 yrs. old though has all natural hair. I swear to never put chemicals in her hair although she's quite tender headed. Then I have my son Anthony. Well since he's a boy I just keep his hair cut which makes him look so handsome at the tender age of 4. I hope to change the mindset of my oldest as she see's how wonderful natural hair is and hair that is healthy will grow with no hair weave necessary.
Love, peace, and no hair grease.

My soon to be 19 year old daughter is the same. Although her hair is natural, she's kept it in braids and now since she's been in uni is considering weaves and just the other month asked whether its a good idea to just perm the front section of her hair so her hair would look more natural the way she wants to wear the weave.
I do my bit by sending her photos of young ladies with microlocks the same length as her hair and mine as its progressing.
I can only hope and pray she trashes this idea of the weave.
How did you achieve the look you're wearing in the photos? Do you have a preference on hair products? Looks great... jlbalkum@yahoo.com
Your hair looks sooooo good! I love your picture updates! I can't wait to have your length. So pretty and curly!
Thanks for the compliment.
You're cute as a button. Oh, and your locs too! ;-)
